JSCT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Increasing the chances for another achiever

ABOUT JSCT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The JSCT Scholarship was founded by Russell M. Tyson, a native of Atlanta. He created this program in the legacy of his late wife, Jaime Shivika Clark ~ Tyson. A name and spirit that he feels should continue in the life of our generations to come.

Jaime Shivika Clark ~ Tyson was born November 28, 1978, under the legal guidance of her father, the late James Clark Sr, and her mother, Alma Clark. Jaime was a pioneer in her school, church, and community. On November 17, 2007, Jaime departed this earthly life after fighting Breast Cancer for 3 years. Her death impacted many lives young and old.

Jaime was a product of the Atlanta Public School System, where she graduated from Benjamin E Mayes High school. Her achievements consist of: a 3.7 GPA, Never Missed A Day of School from K to 12th grade, and more. Furthering her education, Jaime received her Bachelors in Early Childcare. In, she served faithfully in her community at the Southwest YMCA and her church, Mount Ephraim Baptist Church.

In her love for her church, youth, and talents; Jaime also served faithfully as a member of her church's Young Adult Choir, Drama Ministry, Dance Ministry Leader, and Choir Director of the Youth Choir. By mentioning, Jaime also served in her early years as a dancer for Kapp and Company. Surely, her legacy consists of humanity, love for the youth, and assisting in the growth of all creations of God. As this scholarship will continue to serve as her legacy.

In Loving Memories the JSCT Scholarship Program was established. In honor of their kids Jaylan M. and Rhyanna S. Tyson.
We dedicate to her legacy through the JSCT Scholarship the financial assistance to a future HBCU Student from the Public School System that has lost a parent to death. In honor her Jaime’s two Diamonds: Jaylan and Rhyanna Tyson.
