ABOUT JSCT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The JSCT Scholarship was founded by Russell M. Tyson, native of Atlanta. He created this program in the legacy of his late wife, Jaime Shivika Clark ~ Tyson. A name and spirit that he feels should continue in the life of our generations to come.
​
Jaime Shivika Clark ~ Tyson was born November 28, 1978, in the legal guidance of her father, the late James Clark Sr and her mother, Alma Clark. Jaime was a pioneer in her school, church and community. On November 17, 2007, Jaime departed this earthly life after fighting Breast Cancer for 3 years. Her death impacted many lives young and old.

Jaime was a product of the Atlanta Public School System, where she graduated from Benjamin E Mayes High school. Her achievements consist of: 3.7 GPA, Never Missed A Day of School from K to 12th grade and more. Furthering her education, Jaime received her Bachelors in Early Childcare. In which, she served faithfully in her community at the Southwest YMCA and her church, Mount Ephraim Baptist Church.

In her love for her church, youth and talents; Jaime also served faithfully as a member of her church's Young Adult Choir, Drama Ministry, Dance Ministry Leader and Choir Director of the Youth Choir. By mentioning, Jaime also served in her early years as a dancer for Kapp and Company. Surely, her legacy consist of humanity, love for the youth and assisting in the growth of all creations of God. As this scholarship will continue to serve as her legacy.

In Loving Memories the JSCT Scholarship Program is being established. In honor of their kids Jaylan M. and Rhyanna S. Tyson.

RECEIVING THE JSCT SCHOLARSHIP
The JSCT Scholarship is based on the foundation of the CEO of Nspired Images Inc., an entertainment company that their motto is "Inspiring the Aspiring Artists of Tomorrow." In conjunction to the brand of this dynamic company, the company uses it's platform to solicit funding to support the JSCT Scholarship Programs.

In mentioning, Nspired Images Inc host in celebration of their anniversary to continue to inspire those who seek growth within the entertainment industry. This too, gives a platform for one qualified candidate of the JSCT Scholarship Program. This youth will be honored and rewarded the JSCT Scholarship at the Nspired Image Awards, held every 4th Saturday of June. With more recognition to this achieving candidate, he/she will be sponsored luxury transportation to and from the Award Ceremony, sponsored in wardrobe, provided the platform to give an acceptance speech, featured on our Awards Website for the entire year.

WHAT DOES THE JSCT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM OFFERS?
The JSCT Scholarship awards one qualified candidate a first year, $2,000.00 Scholarship to any University of his/her choice. To include, this recipient honored and rewarded the JSCT Scholarship at the Nspired Image Awards, held every 4th Saturday of June. With more recognition to this achieving candidate, he/she will be sponsored luxury transportation to and from the Award Ceremony, sponsored in wardrobe, provided the platform to give an acceptance speech, featured on our Awards Website for the entire year.

JSCT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM RECIPIENT
The JSCT Scholarship Recipient begins with recognition of academic success. The resources offered are focused on helping our recipient to successfully transition from high school to college. The benefits of being a JSCT Scholar includes access to JSCT scholarship funding, leadership development programs, college admissions counsel, internship and employment opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS
* This qualification may be opt out.
​
Candidate must be in senior of High School.
​
Candidate must have 2.8 or better G.P.A.
​
Candidate must be born in Atlanta, Georgia.
​
Must attend a University first year.
​
* Must have over 90 hours of community services. (school, church, community organization and/or Nspired Images)
​
Must graduate from Atlanta Pubic School
​
Must be a child who have lost a parent(s)
​
A Written letter from Principal, Pastor, Community Leader of why they should receive this scholarship.
​
Must have permission from the graduating school to film a snippet of the candidates life in the school.
​
Household cannot exceed $35,000 per year
​
* Candidate Must be African American
​
Candidate CANNOT have any disciplinary records from K - 12th grade.
​
Candidate CANNOT have any criminal charges against him/her
​
Candidate CANNOT have a child.
​
* Candidate Must have perfect attendance K - 12th grade
​
Candidate CANNOT have been detained between K - 12th grade
